Fashion Runway Trends this Summer 2015

Every girl has a unique fashion sense that she likes to experiment and play around with. The same outfit can be carried in a very different way by two individuals and this is what makes styling so enjoyable.

You can add a dash of colour with great accessories and make a boring plain Jane outfit into a ravishing one with trendy footwear. Fashion is a reflection of your personality and is unique to every person.
With the summers officially in and temperatures soaring every day, every girl should know about these Runway fashions from across the globe this summer to give a distinctive look and make it her own! With various Fashion Weeks running across the globe, these are a few fashion take away to get you charged up this summer:

1) Jumpsuits
Jumpsuits are all the rage this summer. This one piece outfit is sure to get you noticed at any event- be it a classy evening get together or a casual afternoon lunch!

What makes the jumpsuit a great wear is that it highlights your figure and if you have slender pins, then a jumpsuit will go a long way to highlight those toned and shapely legs. If you do not have a height, you can add a pair of stilettoes to give that edgy look to your jumpsuit and automatically add a ton of sass.

Jumpsuits are being worn by celebrities on red carpets as well which makes it all the more reason that you own one this summer.

For an evening look, you can choose a smart monochromatic jumpsuit and give it a nice corporate touch with pumps or peep toes. You can leave it simple or add just a touch of jewellery with a simple, hanging necklace.

If you’re ready to hit the town with your lady friends or you are on a date, you can go in for a floral or lace jumpsuit to set the tone and make it a stylish afternoon.

2. Shirtdress

If all else fails and you cannot understand what to wear anymore, you can always go in for a shirtdress which is a perfect combination of formal meets casual and is perfect for any evening wear or a casual shopping!

You can team it with casual flip flops or uber cool heels to really give it a sassy look. You can go in for a denim shirtdress as well to really declare summers as it’s a unique summer look to help you make that bold fashion statement.

You can team it up with contrasting footwear to really stand out and can accessories with colourful jewellery as well. If you want to keep the look more sophisticated then team the dress up with black pumps that can never go wrong and keep the jewellery to the minimum with your hair in a neat bun and statement earrings to adorn the look.

Now you guys know how much I love statement jewellery right?

It’s very evident from my lookbooks and well, Instagram feed, on how much I just adore them!!

And I am always on a lookout for more statement pieces. In fact, I will be doing a post on storing jewellery (because believe me, it’s a pain to see your unique and expensive pieces breaking and giving way just because of oxidations and improper handling.). But that would be towards 3rd week of May.

Now, coming back to the topic..Statement jewellery.

Alright, a quick question…where do you usually buy your statement pieces from?

I can already see some of you telling me Forever 21, Zara, Topshop, Asos, and H&M already. I totally feel you. As a matter of fact, my top 3 places to buy accessories are from ASOS, Topshop and Zara.

Have I ever ranted on how much I hate Forever 21? Maybe one of these days, I will explain to you why I can’t stand even the sight of F21. F..well F! (pun intended). I haven’t been to a Forever 21 in like FOREVER…and I’m never ever intending to go there.. (another rant coming up really soon!!)

But recently, I came across Aldo’s statement jewellery. I mean, I always buy shoes and bags from Aldo, but never actually gave a thought to checking out their accessories. Until, well, until last night, when I was getting my usual stuff from Zalora, until I came across Aldo. These Aldo accessories online just took my breath away!! Literally!!

I am going to be showing you some of my favourite pieces, (and here’s a takeaway from this post: I am gonna be featuring one of these items in my upcoming lookbook!)

I mean, I have to say, I was pretty impressed at the pieces they carry. And not to sound daft, but I realised that Topshop and Zara pretty much sell very very similar pieces. Don’t you think so? I mean, I see it…I know it! Except, at Topshop the necklace costs $69, and in Zara, $89. -_- But I realised that Aldo’s pieces are completely different!!!

So…with that being said, I would highly recommend you guys to check Aldo’s accessories out! They’re different, unique, and of course, of really really good quality!

Have you ever shopped from Aldo? Do you have any other places that you buy statement pieces from? Let me know in the comments section below! And I will talk to you later!! <3 Ciao!
