Sooo… I know im pretty late with this review, and this movie is like almost a week old. But here’s my review. Hope you enjoy it.

I’ll be honest with you. I wasn’t at all looking forward to watching this movie. In fact that’s why I took so long to watch it. I mean, after some continous flops SRK (‘king’ of bollywood) had given us, i expected this to add to his list of flops.

In fact, a couple of my friends were raving about this movie, but at the same time, Jit was dissing it. (Jit is my bff and we literally have the same taste in movies/sitcoms. Not music though. His music taste is pretty questionable!! JK Jit, chill! *now he’ll send some links from the net trying to prove me wrong -_-)

So naturally if he was dissing it, i automatically assumed that i wouldnt like the movie.

So i dreaded while going to the theaters early today.   IMG-20130821-WA0006

And ok… Fast forward to end of the movie…. I only have 3 words to describe it: I LOVED IT!!

Now don’t get me wrong. This movie has nothing on great movies like Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Veer Zaara, Swades, Chak De etc.

But it is in a league itself. It was hilarious, action and comedy at the same time!! It didnt make sense, but it was good that it didnt. You didnt need to use your brains. You just had to sit there and laugh.

I absolutely love Shahrukh’s comedy timing. It comes out so natural, so witty. And Deepika, she has proved to me today that not only is she the most beautiful actress in Bollywood today, but also the most talented.

If I have to rate top 5 actresses in Bollywood today, they’d be:

1. Deepika Padukone 2. Deepika Padukone 3. Deepika Padukone 4. Kareena kapoor 5. Vidya Balan

The rest? Typical bimbos who are only famous for their looks, (yes I’m discreetly talking about the ‘actress’, Katrina Kaif)

So anyway, the movie is definitely a watch. A very light hearted movie that promises you laughter from the start till the end. In fact, the only movie, (together with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) that I absolutely enjoyed this year!!

Film directors of indian cinema today should learn from these 2 directors that movies cab still go on HIT, even if they contain any sex scene, kissing scene, vulgarities, item song with skanky clothes and barbaric songs! (I’m talking to you, Ekta Kapoor and the dude who directed Dabangg 1 and 2!)

So my overall rating? 3.8/5!

I hope you enjoyed the review, and have you watched this movie yet? It’s worth the watch. Take care!!

Omg wait, I promised AN OOTD, so here it is, I’m just wearing a pullover from H&M,
